Gray Bombs 3 HR Against Minnesota Sunday, September 24th , 2045 Boston Red Sox left fielder Brian Gray sensed he was going to have a good day at the plate, but he still might have underestimated it a little. Prior to the start of today's contest with the Minnesota Twins, Gray told teammates he was sure he would hit a home run. He did -- three times. "During batting practice I really had my swing down pat," he recalled. "I felt some thunder in the lumber." The big day from Gray pushed the Red Sox past the Twins, 9-1. To go along with the homers, he collected 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs. "I was seeing good, feeling good and swinging good," Gray told reporters after the game.
