NL's #1 Player Named Monday, September 25th , 2045 A battle-tested Sean Geisler declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 33-year-old Cincinnati first baseman collected the National League Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .464 average, 13 hits in 28 at-bats, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Geisler is hitting .348 with 23 home runs and 83 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .433 clip and scored 99 runs. |
