2045 NL Best Newcomer Named Thursday, November 16th , 2045 The top National League rookie in 2045 was Atlanta first baseman Jordan Martin. He's the latest winner of the National League Rookie of the Year Award. During his first year in the league, the 23-year-old Martin hit .328 with 162 hits, 32 home runs, 101 RBIs and 95 runs scored. He also walked 48 times on his way to a .392 on-base percentage. He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 30. Ryan Flynn Jr. of the San Diego Padres finished second in voting with 10 first place votes, while Pat Sutton of the Pittsburgh Pirates finished third.
