Blue Jays Deal Schumacher to Rangers for Casas Friday, December 8th , 2045 Nersha Bainco, general manager of the Toronto Blue Jays, has signed off on a trade for Texas's 32-year old LF David Casas. To complete the deal, the Blue Jays will send 24-year old LF Josh Stuck, 29-year old minor league LHP Jon Valdovinos, 31-year old minor league CF Cody Schumacher, and 39-year old minor league RHP Lu-shan Zhào to the Rangers. Texas will retain a portion of Casas's remaining contract. Looking at his career stats, Schumacher is batting .284 and has totaled 194 home runs. Casas has a career .316 average with 1735 hits, including 326 doubles, 59 triples and 316 homers, collected 949 RBIs, scored 1092 runs and compiled a .410 OBP. |
