Arizona, Washington Make Trade Wednesday, December 27th , 2045 Done deal! The Arizona Diamondbacks have agreed to send 19-year old minor league RHP Jim Sanders and a 3rd round draft pick to the Washington Nationals for 33-year old LHP Chris Baran and 33-year old 1B Armando Carbajal. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning. Washington will retain a portion of Baran's remaining contract. Washington will retain a portion of Carbajal's remaining contract. Carbajal currently has a career .313 batting average with 761 hits, good for 151 home runs, 494 RBIs and 432 runs. |
