Hampton Goes 5-for-5 Sunday, October 1st , 2045 Isaiah Hampton had an answer for everything the University of Toronto Marlies threw at him today at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The UCLA center fielder went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Bruins on top, 11-2. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Hampton said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Isaiah Hampton hit a three-run home run off Yann Jarry in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this season Hampton has 2 home runs and a .330 batting average. |
