Star of the Week Selected in DIV II Monday, October 9th , 2045 So far in his young career, Tony Cabrera has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Division 2 in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 17-year-old Oklahoma State University Cowboys left fielder hit at a torrid .476 clip as he collected 10 hits in 21 at-bats, 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. On the year Cabrera has hit .320 with 4 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 21 runs. |
