Solis Rips 3 HR

Clemson University Tigers bombardier Jon Solis set his sights on the stands and blasted three balls over the fence as his club took a 11-7 win over the University of Michigan Wolverines today.
"I guess you could say I was a good guesser today, especially on the last one," Solis told writers in the postgame press room. "I was ahead in the count, so I gambled that I'd get a certain pitch, and got all of it."
For the game, the Clemson University left fielder had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 8, and scored 3 runs.
Jon Solis hit a two-run home run off Jon Lawson in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Kazuki Arai in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Kazuki Arai in the 9th.
Solis's current batting average stands at .205 and he has chalked up 17 home runs and 43 RBIs.
