Top Dvision 1 Newcomer Named Friday, December 1st , 2045 Jose Pereyra is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Dvision 1 Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In November the Vanderbilt University hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .345 average with 30 hits, 11 home runs and 26 RBIs. Looking at his stats this year, Pereyra has compiled a .323 batting average, while hitting 30 home runs and driving in 70 runs. He has played in 73 games and scored 66 runs. |
