Week's Best Player Honored by DIV I Monday, December 18th , 2045 17-year-old Jose Pereyra sent shock waves through Evolution last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Dvision 1 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Pereyra made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .500 average, 11 hits in 22 at-bats, 6 home runs and 15 RBI. Where the Vanderbilt University Commodores left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Pereyra certainly made his mark last week. This year Pereyra is batting .334 with 38 home runs and 90 RBIs. |
