Season Ends for Maki Thursday, December 21st , 2045 Obviously disappointed, Ray Maki confirmed today that his season is officially over. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill reliever offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 16-year-old Maki suffered a damaged elbow ligament on 12/17/2045 and has been out of action since. Over the season, Maki has made 14 relief appearances with no saves. He has K'd 11 batters in 15.2 innings, yielded 11 walks and has a 8.62 ERA. Maki's record this year is 0-1. |
