University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill-UCLA Fight Results in Suspensions Saturday, December 23rd , 2045 Akira Kubo of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Tar Heels and Artemio Millares of the UCLA Bruins will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 2 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Tar Heels-Bruins game at Bryson Field at Boshamer Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Kubo and Millares will begin serving them soon. This year Kubo is hitting .216 with 4 home runs and 35 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .269 clip and scored 30 runs. This year Millares has posted a 3-9 mark in 25 starts and has a 6.47 ERA. |
