Reynoso Goes Deep 3 Times Saturday, September 9th , 2045 Dave Reynoso brutalized the Portland Angels pitching staff, launching three home runs in today's 28-8 victory at Toros Stadium. The Tijuana Toros third baseman was red-hot, the ball just exploding off his bat all day. "I don't try to hit homers," he said later. "I try to go out there and put a good swing on the ball, and sometimes it is going to go out of the park. I didn't try to hit the first one or the second one or the third one." For the game, he went 3-for-5 with 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. "Too much Dave Reynoso today," Angels manager Eli Boike said. "That's my assessment of the game. That's what our problems boiled down to." Dave Reynoso hit a solo-shot off Adrian Orosco in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Danny Gelinas in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Trevor Kingston in the 6th, walked in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. So far this season Reynoso is hitting .271 with 14 home runs. |
