Krott Smacks 5 Hits for Avalanche Saturday, September 16th , 2045 It was a big day for Michael Krott and he brought the Colorado Avalanche along for the ride. Krott led his club to a 29-3 victory over the Portland Angels today at Denver Stadium, smoking Portland pitching for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. The 20-year-old right fielder later called the victory "sweet." Michael Krott hit a two-run single in the 1st, singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and grounded out in the 7th. So far this season Krott has hit .392 with 41 home runs, 124 RBIs and scored 109 times. |
