Moore Bombs 3 HR Against Tijuana Wednesday, September 20th , 2045 Matt Moore showed off his power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Tijuana Toros and sparked the Marlins to a 9-5 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Miami Beach Stadium." For the day, Moore collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 4 runs and had 6 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Miami Beach skipper Jermaine Mitchell said. "Matt really put on a show." Matt Moore singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Loc Pham in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Javy Franco in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Adam Maczko in the 9th. Thus far this year Moore has hit .299 with 38 home runs and 133 RBIs. |
