Invaders Suffer 11-0 Drubbing from Oaks Saturday, September 30th , 2045 Today was Aaron Vallejo's turn in the rotation for the Oakland Oaks and he made the most of it, shutting out the Roswell Invaders on 3 hits. The 21-year-old right-hander led the Oaks to an easy 11-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 18 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Roswell manager Casey Baron said. "Vallejo certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds." This year Vallejo has registered 11 wins and 1 loss in 19 starts with a 2.23 ERA while registering 210 strikeouts and 15 walks in 121 innings. |
