Burns Slaps 5 Hits Monday, October 9th , 2045 Kyle Burns exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Niagara Falls Casino & Resort. The Hamilton catcher had a field day in the 31-4 triumph over the Niagara Falls Phantoms, finishing 5-for-7. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Burns must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Kyle Burns singled in the 1st, singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Chris Bryant in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Chris Bryant in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. |
