Great Stroke: Banks Gets 5 Hits Thursday, October 12th , 2045 5 times is the charm -- at least for Sean Banks. The Trois-Riveres Aigles left fielder tore up the Niagara Falls Phantoms to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Trois-Riveres Community Center today. The offensive onslaught from Banks powered the Aigles to a 26-1 win. "Banks was a tough out today," Niagara Falls manager Richard Hauser said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Sean Banks doubled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th and flied out in the 7th. For the year Banks has hit .273 with 13 home runs, 80 RBIs and scored 64 runs. |
