Nationals Pitching Ravaged by Coleman
Thursday, October 12th , 2045
It seemed that Houston second baseman Drew Coleman could do no wrong as the Colt .45's KO'd the Nationals, 29-0 today. Coleman rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Nationals hurlers were throwing.
"I think the Colt .45's were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Palm Beach fan after the game.
"I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Coleman in the postgame press interview.
Drew Coleman singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit a three-run triple in the 7th.
Coleman on the season is hitting .321 with 5 home runs. His stats include 55 RBIs and 59 runs scored.
