Oaks Dominate, Sweep Round 1 Wednesday, October 18th , 2045 The Amarillo ThunderHeads were simply overmatched by the Oakland Oaks in the Round 1. The end result was a sweep, as Oakland has cruised to the Quarter-Finals, with the final win coming at Oakland Oaks Grounds by a score of 14-4. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Shannon Beck, who was named MVP of the Round 1. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Beck hit .467 with a .579 on-base percentage. He had 6 home runs, drove in 13 RBI and scored 8 runs.
