"He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Windy City skipper Werner Leal. Pat Pemberton hit a solo-shot off Oscar Chacon in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Dave Patenaude in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off J.J. Maetzold in the 8th and was hit by a pitch in the 9th. Pemberton is batting .374 this season in 55 games with 19 home runs, 55 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has 76 hits in 203 at-bats. |
