Oakland Sweeps into the World Series Tuesday, November 7th , 2045 It was a sweet sweep for the Oakland Oaks as they eased past the Calgary Flames to advance to the World Series. Oakland won the final game by a 2-1 count and the series 4-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said D.J. Codd, who was named series MVP. For the series, Codd hit .400 with a .471 on-base percentage. He had 5 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Semi-Finals finishes. |
