Majors Cruise to World Series with Sweep Wednesday, November 8th , 2045 The London Majors outclassed the Windy City ThunderBolts in all facets of the game throughout the EL Semi-Finals. The end result was a London series sweep to advance to the World Series, capped off by a 4-3 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said left fielder Bill Murray, who hit .500 in the series. Murray's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .600 on-base percentage and had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Semi-Finals finishes. |
