Pelayo Slams 5 Hits for University of Southern California Tuesday, September 19th , 2045 Jayden Pelayo did all he could with his bat, but it just wasn't enough for the University of Southern California Trojans to pull out a victory. The 18-year-old right fielder rapped out 5 hits in the game, but the Trojans could not overcome the Mississippi State University Bulldogs. University of Southern California lost the game 15-13 today at Dedeaux Field. Jayden Pelayo singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Ruben Mendoza in the 9th.
