Cavaliers End Oetker's Streak Tuesday, October 3rd , 2045 Terry Oetker's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 25 games today as the University of Georgia Bulldogs dropped their contest with the University of Virginia Cavaliers 7-3 at Davenport Field. Oetker failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game Oetker spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. So far this season Oetker is hitting .520 with 12 home runs, 42 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 53 hits in 102 at-bats and a .574 OBP. |
