Telgen Week's Best in ORI Monday, October 30th , 2045 So far in his young career, Wilfrid Telgen has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Division 1 in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 17-year-old Arizona State University Sun Devils second baseman hit at a torrid .543 clip as he collected 19 hits in 35 at-bats, 1 home run, 10 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Telgen is hitting at a .423 mark this season. His stats show 11 home runs, 50 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has played 50 games for the Sun Devils. |
