Serzedelo Blisters Florida State University Monday, October 30th , 2045 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Sandoval Serzedelo is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Florida State University Seminoles at Ballpark of Memphis today. The monster effort from the 17-year-old left fielder helped the Louisiana State University Tigers take the win, 25-9. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Seminoles manager Eric Charles. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Sandoval Serzedelo struck out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, walked in a run in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 8th and hit a sac fly in the 9th. This season Serzedelo is batting at a .405 clip with 20 home runs and 59 RBIs. |
