Jaramillo on Fire: 5-for-6 for Coastal Carolina University Sunday, November 5th , 2045 Coastal Carolina University Chanticleers catcher Israel Jaramillo went 5-for-6 today and paced Coastal Carolina University to a 13-2 victory over the University of Southern California Trojans at Dedeaux Field. "Well, that was fun," Jaramillo said following the game. Israel Jaramillo singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Looking at his present stats, Jaramillo has compiled a .322 batting average in 40 games with a .392 on-base percentage, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 35 runs. |
