Pelayo Earns SL2 Player of the Week Monday, November 6th , 2045 It was announced today by the Sub League 2 that University of Southern California right fielder Jayden Pelayo had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .542 batting average, 13 hits and 6 home runs. Pelayo also racked up 18 RBIs and scored 7 runs. This season Pelayo has hit at a .293 clip with 86 RBIs, 23 home runs and 65 runs scored. He has played in 67 games. |
