Hits Galore: Holland Drills 5 Hits
Saturday, November 18th , 2045
It was a sensational day at the plate for Mike Holland as he led the charge to a 25-7 win over the Hurricanes. The University of Georgia first baseman was pure misery for the University of Miami pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
"Holland put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Tolenka Yakushkin, manager for the Hurricanes, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Mike Holland hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
Currently Holland is batting .355 with 11 home runs and 56 RBIs.
