Holland on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, December 4th , 2045 University of Georgia Bulldogs first baseman Mike Holland walked away with the Division 1 Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Bulldogs fans are really behind me right now," said the 17-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Holland batted .714 (15-for-21) with 1 home run and 12 RBIs this week on his way to the award. This season Holland is batting .382 with 91 hits, 12 home runs, 68 RBIs, .477 OBP and has scored 68 runs. |
