Mendoza Hot, Black Bears Cold Sunday, December 24th , 2045 The University of Maine Black Bears met their match today in California State University at Fullerton hurler Francisco Mendoza. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 3-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," University of Maine skipper Nick Klouser said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 9-0 victory, Mendoza whiffed 12 and gave up 1 walk.
