5-for-5 Day for Huang Saturday, December 30th , 2045 University of Alabama first baseman Wen Huang had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers at Sewell–Thomas Stadium as the Crimson Tide picked up a 18-1 victory. "He was patient up there today," University of Alabama skipper Darryl Kennedy told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Huang has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Wen Huang singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this year Huang has 3 home runs and a .387 batting average. |
