Kansas City second baseman Mike Jaquez had a 6-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Toronto Blue Jays, 8-1. Kansas City pitcher Jimmy Silveira IV got the win. He's now 5-1. Spencer Jones was tagged with the loss. The loss drops the Blue Jays to 19-12.

Jaquez put Kansas City up, 5-0, when he hit a grand slam home run off Spencer Jones in the top of the fifth. His 11th home run of the season helped the Royals capture the win.
