Giants Edge Brewers, 5-4
|
The San Francisco Giants bested the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-4, at AT&T Park. Nate Hodson was one of the standouts. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for San Francisco.
One of the clutch hits for San Francisco came from one of their biggest talents. In the bottom of the seventh with one out, Sean Zielinski, who is tied for 2nd in the NL in triples with 4, hit a run-scoring single to put the Giants up, 5-4. For the game, the second baseman was 1-2 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Milwaukee manager Andy Pafko III said following the tough loss.
