Win Lifts Giants to 25-13
|
Behind an impressive start by Ricky Rodriguez, San Francisco beat Milwaukee, 3-1. The win gives San Francisco a season record of 25-13.
San Francisco took a 3-1 lead on Lucan Esini's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Milwaukee pitcher Ernie Schmutz in the bottom of the seventh.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said San Francisco manager Jobo Foster.
