Yankees Squelch Blue Jays Offense in Shutout Win
Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Yankees beat the Blue Jays.

New York starter Francisco Rivas pitched well against the Toronto Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a win, 6-0. New York raised its record to 21-19 with the win.

Jordan de Jesus hit a run-scoring triple off Matt Altieri in the bottom of the first, which put the Yankees in front, 1-0. de Jesus had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," de Jesus said.
