						Pieters Slugs Braves to 6-4 Win

						A good performance from right fielder Adriaan Pieters helped the Atlanta Braves defeat the New York Mets, 6-4. Pieters hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Braves. Tommy Hall earned the win to go to 2-1. He allowed 4 runs on 6 hits, with no walks and 5 strikeouts in 8 innings of work.  Victor Munoz closed it out for his 10th save.
  Pieters had a timely hit for Atlanta in the top of the eighth. With New York trailing 4-3, he turned a 2-1 fastball into a 3-run  home run. It was his 9th home run of the season, making it 6-4, Atlanta.
  "I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Pieters. "And not try to do too much."
  The win for the Braves lifted their record to 21-19.
