Voyagers Hamlin Strikes out 15
|
Led by an outstanding performance from starter Nick Hamlin, the Great Falls Voyagers topped the Greeneville Astros today by a score of 8-2 at Centene Stadium. The 23-year-old Hamlin brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 2 hits and giving up 1 walk.
"He made a lot of good pitches out there," Astros manager T.J. Weir said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."
So far this season Hamlin has 6 wins and no losses and a 3.67 ERA.
