|
The Cincinnati Reds got a stellar performance from pitcher Justin Ezzell, who handcuffed the New York offense en route to a win, 5-1, at Great American Ball Park. Juan Barroso earned the save for Cincinnati, his 4th. Cincinnati now has a record of 25-18 with the win.
Ezzell, the Cincinnati right-hander, went 8.1 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits. He collected 11 strikeouts.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Ezzell said after the game.
