Rangers Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Cleveland
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers get after it.
The Texas Rangers bested the Cleveland Indians, 6-3, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Josh Cook was one of the standouts. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Brad Kramer locked down his 12th save.
With Texas leading 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Cook hit a cutter from Drew Rickelman for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 5-1.
Cook told a Texas Chronicle reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
Texas has now won 6 straight, while the Indians have lost 3 in a row.
