The New York Mets beat the Cincinnati Reds, 11-4. New York first baseman and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native Jeff Jank led the way. The Mets sit in third place in the National League East Division with a record of 22-25.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jonathan Jenkins? The New York second baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Mets on top, 4-2. For the game, Jenkins had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
