Dodgers Win, 4-1, at San Francisco
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the San Francisco Giants, 4-1, in National League action at AT&T Park. Los Angeles pitcher Sean Parks had a standout performance. Parks, the winner, moves to 4-2. He threw 6.1 innings of 1-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 5 walks. The last-place Dodgers improved to 21-29.
Los Angeles used the timely hitting of Dalton Silveira to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Dodgers ahead, 4-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
Parks called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
