5-Hit Game for Ayala
No matter what the Pulaski Yankees threw at him today, Victor Ayala hit it. He easily handled Yankees pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Blue Jays to a 31-4 triumph at Bowen Field.

"The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Ayala's quip, Yankees skipper Austin Hedges said he "would take him up on that next time."

Victor Ayala singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Eric Patrick in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Sergio Huerta in the 5th, walked in the 5th and singled in the 7th.

So far this season Ayala has hit .410 with 9 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 29 times.
