						Diamondbacks Deal Giants 6-4 Loss
					 |

The Arizona Diamondbacks picked up a win at AT&T Park, knocking off the San Francisco Giants, 6-4. Starting pitcher Miguel Martinez was a big reason why. Martinez, now 4-2, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 12 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing 4 runs. Arizona raised its record to 30-24 with the win.
Arizona used the bat of Roy Steigerwald to capture the win. The left fielder jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Diamondbacks ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Martinez.
