Power Crushes 4 Home Runs
An amazing display of power vaulted Gregg Power and the Oakland (APP) Athletics to victory and into the record books today, as the catcher hit 4 home runs against the Elizabethton Twins.

Power was an unstoppable force for the Athletics in the 23-3 triumph at Juan Marichal Complex. In the postgame interview, Power said he started to feel the pressure before his last home run.

"I could feel the anticipation from the crowd, the look in my teammates' eyes," he said. "I was already thrilled, but as I stepped in the box I said, please God, let me hit one more."

His totals on his history-making day were 4 hits in 6 at-bats with 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

Gregg Power hit a GRAND SLAM off Brian Waldrip in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Andrew Rich in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Aaron Elliott in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jorge Corte in the 8th.
