Led by an outstanding performance from starter Mitchel Larson, the Bluefield Blue Jays topped the Pulaski Yankees today by a score of 21-0 at Calfee Park. The 21-year-old Larson brought his top game to the mound, striking out 18 batters while allowing 1 hit and giving up no walks.

"He made a lot of good pitches out there," Yankees manager Austin Hedges said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."

This year his stats show Larson has no saves in no relief appearances with a 15-2 record and 3.26 ERA.
