Cyclones Pitching Ravaged by Casas
In a career performance, Cincinnati (NYP) Reds shortstop Tony Casas sparkled with the bat today at MCU Park.

Powering his way to a 5-for-6 line at the plate, Casas led the Reds to a 14-3 win over the Brooklyn Cyclones. Casas was in high spirits in the clubhouse after the game, joking with reporters that the big game had left him "winded."

"Oh sure, 5 hits sounds great but think about how much more baserunning you have to do," he said with a smile. "Next time, I'm just going to take 5 walks."

Tony Casas doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

Casas is currently batting .226 with 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 24 hits in 106 at-bats.
