Morman Hurls Perfect Game against Cyclones
Tri-City Dust Devils starter Kenny Morman spun a perfect game today against the Brooklyn Cyclones.

The 27-year-old was impeccable in the 17-0 victory at MCU Park, not allowing a single baserunner.

"I don't know what to say," he said in a postgame press conference. "I didn't do anything different in this game. Really. I just pitched the ball and everyone did what they had to do and somewhere along the way, fate stepped in and took control."

Morman retired 27 in a row, fanning 23 of them.

"I was very aware I was working on a perfect game from the sixth inning on," he said. "But it didn't faze me because I really didn't expect to pitch one. I was worrying about winning, not trying for a perfect game."

To this point in the season Morman has no saves in 14 relief appearances with a 4-0 record and 0.85 ERA.
