						The Princeton Rays topped the Greeneville Astros, 4-2, in American League action at Pioneer Park. The player of the game was Princeton pitcher and Garland, Texas native Joe Butler. Even with the win, the Rays have a dismal 50-93 record.
  In the top of the first, Will Timmer had a big 2-run  home run off Eli Hernandez. With the home run, the Princeton left fielder put his team in front, 2-0. He went 1 for 5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the contest.
  Timmer told a Princeton Bulletin reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
